LX5 is a concept from artists for artists . The exhibition in the gallery 'QG Salzinsel' asks you to join in. Five artists, from five regions (Wallonia, Lorraine, the Saar, the Rhine and Luxembourg as parts of the Greater Region) set the foundation. Over the whole period of the exhibition there will be interaction, participation – the exhibition is in a steady process of transformation, new artists take part, objects move, melt together, disappear and give space for others. In between exhibits, the rooms will be brought to life through performances, dance, poetry and music. Practical and theoretical experiences will be shared at various workshops and a meeting point (tea-lounge) becomes an archive filled with various forms of documentation. Spoken word, printed material (eg. catalogues), video material and more is exchanged and actors can meet. A possibility to present your work, your collective, your project – an actual living, exchange platform is birthed.
